ROCKROOSTER Newland Green 6 inch Waterproof Hiking Shoes KS5536

I live in Northern Ontario Canada and these are "The Best" boots and the most well constructed boot that I now have 3 pairs of boots and one pair of the 4 inch shoes. I am 67 years and weigh 120 pounds and these are light enough to wear all day. Thanks Rock Rooster for making the nicest boots and shoes.

by far the best shoe ive ever worn are waterproof is understatement, only flaw shoe lace dont stay tied but easily fixed by double tying.

Honestly,these are the most comfortable shoes/boots I can remember owning. This is my fifth pair of rock roosters but the first pair of new land hikers. I’ve had two pairs of the regular 3/4 top hiker/work boots, for me, no safety toe. I loved those and these new lands seem to feel even better.I’m a 57 year old cabinet maker and I am on my at least ten hrs a day, most of the time. So, foot wear is a high priority. I’ve tried most of the top brands,Merrill,Solomon and Danner. They are all great shoes, but there is just something about RRsThat make them special. I’m a huge fan!!!

Nothing’s wrong with the shoes. It’s just too heavy for my personal preference.

Shoes fit good and are fairly comfortable ......I just like a softer sole. These things are rigid and you won't sneak up on anybody with them.

Lacing at top is awkward and feels loose all the time. I would have returned them but I used a couple times.

These boots are excellent! Very good quality and craftsmanship. The boots fit well, are light weaght, support my feet very well and are very durable!!

Clearly well made, above average insole, pretty warm. Mid-season active boot, would be too warm for tropical hiking, not warm enough for snow without thick socks.

I bought these for my husband for his roofing career but they only lasted about 6 work days. We thought these would be comfortable and sturdy as advertised they are indeed comfy for his feet but not as sturdy on steep roofs. They also say made in China on them so I doubt they are real Goodyear rubber.

I use size 9, but themruns too small I returned them and order size 10, fits perfect ?

First off - I normally wear Keen hiking boots but they are getting a little old.These Rockroosters seemed like a good choice. Very reasonably priced with good reviews.I wore them around the house for a while and they seemed good. So, the next step was an outside walk paired with some marino wool hiking socks. After about 4,000 steps they felt pretty uncomfortable - so I went back to the car and switched footwear. Blaming it on thd socks I decided to give them another chance.My second walk I picked my most comfortable socks. Writesocks. Much better - at first. After about 3,000 steps - again, very uncomfortable. This time only on one foot. My little toe was squished into the next toe and I limped back to my car to change footwear.The toe box is a lot narrower than on the Keens.Going to see if these boots wear in after a few short walks.
